Early Asahi Pentax adverts from Popular Photography. They were few - just couple adverts appeared in 1957 and 1958. The one below appeared in December issue and was teasing readers with the new Asahi Pentax camera.

Heiland Pentax advert for Pentax H2 in January 1960 issue of Popular Photography. This one is the first color advert for Pentax in Popular Photography. Starting from 1959 Pentax cameras featured more often on the pages of Popular Photography - often being strategically placed in the advertisements for Heiland flash guns.

Note the error in the advert. Lens identified under letter "A" is 105mm f/2.8 Auto-Takumar and not a 85mm f/1.8 Auto-Takumar as it is suggested in the text of the advert.

Picture below is one of the very few color adverts published by Honeywell Pentax in December 1961. This one is quite interesting as it features quite rare lens - Auto-Takumar 55mm f/1.8. For more details on this lens see lenses section.
