Asahiflex Microscope Adapter

This is a rare accessory that was produced for use with Asahiflex cameras. The microscope adapter is made from heavily chromed brass and has M37 mount threads. When Asahi switched to M42 mount they remade this adapter with M42 mount. The construction remained identical with the only difference being that the main tube was made with anodized aluminum. Last image shows Asahiflex M37 version next to its M42 version.

Asahi Pentax Helicoid Extension Tube / Variable Close-Up Ring

Focusing Extension Tube. Model 1 (early). Official name is: "ASAHI PENTAX JAPAN VARIABLE CLOSE-UP RING". This ring allows variable extension from 16.8mm to 30.6mm. It mounts between camera and the lens.

It has male and female M42 threads. This is quite rare Asahi accessory which was sold along with much more common extension rings. On US market it retailed for $29.50 in early 1970s later rising to $47.00. Honeywell catalog number was: 7105
